Avanti Stone Creations was founded in Arizona in 1997 by artist, Jason Salvini. In 2004, Jason relocated the company to the Pacific Northwest, settling in the beautiful Yakima Valley. This location provided Avanti with a low overhead, ideal weather and a central location to easily accommodate our clients throughout Washington State. Although based in Washington, Avanti Stone Creations will always travel throughout the Western States providing custom masonry services to our many valued clients. Our experience in working with a variety of climates, landscapes and regional styles has provided us with a broad knowledge of stone masonry practices. We have had the pleasure of creating masterful works of art for some of the greatest builders and architects in the Western United States. We apply this experience and knowledge to each and every job, offering our customers a truly custom, artistic work of art.
Meet the Artist
Jason Salvini
Jason’s masonry career began while he worked for several specialized masonry companies. In 1997, he started working with natural organic materials to create custom masonry sculptures and water features. At that time, Jason brought two master stone masons onto the Avanti team. Combined, these professionals possessed over 70 years of masonry experience. Jason continues to study ancient cultures of the Greek, Roman, Egyptian and Middle Eastern civilizations. It has been the research of such people that has continuously fueled Jason’s passion and desire for working with the stone and earth as these people once did. He also spent considerable time in the Arizona wilderness hiking and hunting; observing firsthand the remnants of the stone ruins of the Anasazi and Hopi natives. Jason enjoyed exploring the southwest, becoming inspired by the cliff drawings and carvings, and ancient architectural beauty there. Jason's work reflects his research into the meanings behind these different influences, while still keeping his designs fresh, unique and his own.
